rIKKI HARDY FROM H.A.A.M. - 49TH EPISODE

Do you know what $50,000 in cash looks like? Rikki Hardy, HAAM Director of Marketing and Events, sure does (hint: it's gross). And she's hoping to see a lot more on HAAM Day, September 11 in Austin.

Rikki, along with Katie Crowley, joined the show to tell us how the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians helps local musicians with their healthcare. They are in the final stages of preparing HAAM Day, their biggest donation day of the year.

If you're in Austin, check out some of the hundreds of bands that will be performing across the city on September 11 to support HAAM. Rikki told us about all the plans for that day, and she made the case for all local musicians to visit HAAM for their healthcare needs.

It's an incredible resource for our city and our music culture. Get covered! Support music!

WALKER LUKENS- 44TH EPISODE

Walker Lukens is having himself a nice musical journey, one that many musicians would envy. But he's still hungry to continue creating and performing.

We enjoyed talking about his prolific writing process and how that is balanced by a sweet mom who really has no idea what Walker is doing.

He has a lot of things he wants to say and do, and he's doing them. Go figure! Check him out on tour this summer. He'll be at Antone's in Austin on August 18.

carson mchone - 26th episode

We sat down with the one and only, Carson McHone. We talked about what it was like performing at Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL), receiving the coveted Black Fret grant, navigating the country music world (the whole big one not just the part in Austin) and plenty of other stuff. We love Carson's music and especially her lyrics. Check it out!
